Poplar Hill Mansion Festival

Yesterday was the long awaited Poplar Hill Mansion Festival! I worked very hard to set myself up for success.

I was out there with my usual wares, but I thought to bring my wreathed which caught people’s attention… and then people- the wisteria insisted on tickling people’s necks and tops of their heads. 😂

I met another tatter, although she was older and doesn’t partake any more. Another few lovely folks told me about family members who partook in the art, pretty much all of them sadly having left this world. 💔

And the resin jewelry was a hit! I think I figured out how I want to handle making this style of jewelry in the future, and more safely, so this resin batch is a very limited one! Any resin in stock is essential going to be it.

After I got home, I re-photographed all of earrings. I’ll edit and update them all today. The prototype earrings I wore were also a hit. I ought to post them for pre-order.

Sadly, the threat of rain scared people away. The turnout was rather low despite how hard the curator, volunteers, and vendors worked to make it a success.
